Vessels Gallery — located in Boston’s South End, the center of the city’s thriving arts and cultural scene — was a venue for those who collected, created or coveted ceramics… or those just beginning an exploration of the beauty of shaped clay. Representing studio ceramicists from the United States, Europe, and Asia, the Gallery exhibited the functional and non-functional, one-of-a-kind work of both emerging and established clay artists. Gallery shows featured demonstrations and explanations of how work was created and often opened with talks by the artists themselves.
Although the Gallery closed its doors in November of 2014, we are still in touch with the artists whose work we showed for many years. The Website lists an inventory of these artists together with a representative image of their work.
For further information about the ceramicists, please do not hesitate to email us.
